Bradford History Lunchtime Lectures at Bradford Local Studies Library

Join local historian and map expert Derek Barker for the first in a new series of free Autumn talks.

The talk ‘Central Bradford Chapels – and what they have taught me’ will show how the study of historical maps and plans can inspire and illustrate research into aspects of Bradford’s past.

Doors open at 1.00pm for a 1.15pm start.

Venue: Bradford Local Studies Library, Margaret McMillan Tower (side entrance) on Princes Way, BD1 1NN.

After the talk at 2.00pm items from the collections at Bradford Local Studies Library and West Yorkshire Archives, Bradford will be on display.
