Does this website ever get checked? OBVIOUSLY NOT! Many entries simply refuse to appear making searching frustratingly long-winded and fruitless. Lancashire papers are particularly bad. Please check the website and try to correct the many errors.

19th century newspapers refusing to connect today. Why? Was fine yesterday. Have always been problems with this site. Pity because it’s extremely useful – when it condescends to work.

Why has 19th century newspapers website become so hard to access? It used to be pretty good but today it won’t grant me access using my library borrow card number.
